And just like that, it's October

I told Allen <3 that I was going to write more. Last month I challenged myself with Sober September, which I probably stuck to about 87% of the time. First week was hellacious, but by last week it was just a mind game against myself. I lost. This month I decided I’d challenge myself with a haiku a day. As you can tell it’s October 2^nd and I have nothing online from yesterday. Luckily, in the wee hours of Sept. 30/Oct. 1 I pulled out my iphonical device and “scribbled” down my favorite things from that day. So here you go, haikus for October 1 &2.
